Regular cow milk causes many problems that we do not recognize are coming from this source. Many pediatricians have been recommending that children not be given cow’s milk due to the increase of health problems it causes.



Many Americans are having a growing problem and are developing allergic reactions to this common beverage. It has been known to contributes to lung, digestion, stomach pains, diarrhea and skin problems.



We need to pay attention to the reactions our children have after drinking milk. If you child is drinking milk and becomes prone to rashes, asthma, and colic you should stop using cows milk.



There are other more serious long lasting effects of cow milk. These reactions include but are not limited to arthritis, heart disease, and kidney stones. Take a good look at how our bodies are reacting to cows milk on a daily basis.



You may wonder how this could be when you have been told all your life that you should be drinking milk for your bones. However, all of that information originated from the dairy industry.




From commercials to nutritionist we are told to drink milk in order to get calcium for our bones. Calcium is a main ingredient in milk but it is also the biggest contributor to osteoporosis.



The countries that consume the highest amount of milk are the ones that have the highest amount of osteoporosis. The countries that drink the least amount tend to have the strongest bones.



Milk tends to be high in a protein called casein, which contributes to a lot of health challenges including digestive upset. It also contains a high amount of hormones, pesticides, and vaccination residue that are given to the cows.



There are many healthy alternatives to getting the nutritional value from milk that does not come from a cow. These tasty alternatives come as rice, soy or almond milk. You may add it to cereal for breakfast or as a recipe ingredient.



Another way you can get the calcium your body needs is through whole foods. Foods that are high in calcium and other nutrients that help to build strong bones are nuts, beans, and vegetables.




Nuts are high in minerals also and can be made into non-dairy milk substitute. Romaine lettuce is a great addition to the diet. It is high in calcium and magnesium and tastes great in salads and added to sandwiches or main dishes of all kinds.



Incorporating healthy whole foods and other milk supplements are a great way to make sure you stay healthy. Be careful when giving your children cow milk and watch for allergic reactions. Keeping our bodies healthy is a learning process and you will be glad you took action.
